Q & A

Q: What is Metro Football?

A: Metro Football is our local New England league. Low on Travel. High on Fun. Everyone gets a game. Its where new guys learn the game and old guys keep fit and practice their skills

Q: Is Metro Football any different to normal Aussie Rules Football that the Demons Play?

A: The basic game is the same but we reduce the size of the field and number of players to around 10 players on a team. This gets everyone involved and keeps us improving. We generally play 2 x 20 minute halfs.

Q: Do I have to know how to play footy before playing Metro?

A: Absolutely not. Metro is where people learn the game. Bring everyone you can and we'll teach them the basics

Q: If I haven't offically been drafted into a team can I still play?

A: Absolutely! Just email vicepresident@bostondemons.com or come down to the next practice or game and we'll get you started.

Q: What do I need to get started?

A: Just bring shorts, socks and soccer cleats if you have them if not running shoes are fine.
